MAJOR ARCANA · XXI
The World
Completion, integration, the work becoming a place. You can inhabit what you have made. The next Fool, if it comes, will be a different step.
- ELEMENT
- spirit
- NUMBER
- Fool's Journey — completion: the work becoming a place. Integration, the wreath, the dance that includes the corners.
- JOURNEY
- Completion — the work made whole
- SYMBOLS
- a dancer in a wreath, completion as motion not as a freeze-frame · two wands in hand, the Magician's tool now light enough to dance with · red wraps at the wreath, a seal that is also a ribbon · four kerubs at the corners, the suits present as witnesses · an open sky, no precipice, no tower — a place the work has become
UPRIGHT
- +finishing and letting the finish be seen
- +wholeness that includes the four corners
- +belonging in a life you actually built
- −refusing to close so the story never has to be judged
- −perfection as a delay of the dance
- −completion used to look down on those still on the road
- IN LOVE
- A whole picture: body, choice, history, future. Celebrate. Do not start a new precipice just to feel alive.
- IN WORK
- A cycle done — ship it, mark it, inhabit the role. The wreath is not a trap unless you never leave it.
- IN SELF
- You contain more than one element. Integration is not a vibe; it is the practice of not exiling a corner of yourself.
REVERSED
Almost the wreath. Something will not enter the dance — a withheld corner, a fear of ending, a loop of almost.
- Blocked — the upright current exists and is dammed.
- Internalized — the drama is inner rather than worldly.
- Excess — the current is overplayed.
Blocked World will not finish. Inner World is a private sense of arrival no one can share yet. Excess World collects completions and never rests in one.
