Wands · VI
Six of Wands
Recognition after contest. Ride through; do not dismount into a personality of being applauded. The wreath is a moment, not a throne.
- ELEMENT
- fire
- NUMBER
- Six — recovery: the wreath horseman, heat recognized after the dust.
- SYMBOLS
- a rider with a wreath on the stave and another on the head · a white horse, victory that did not need to be grim · figures on foot beside, a public that consented to cheer · a green canopy of trees, the road as a living hall
UPRIGHT
- +earned visibility
- +sharing a win with the people who walked
- +morale returning to a tired campaign
- −needing the crowd to know you exist
- −a victory that forgets the cost
- −leading a parade that has no next work
- IN LOVE
- Pride in the bond, a public yes. Enjoy it. Check that the horse is not performing for strangers.
- IN WORK
- A launch that landed, a promotion, the good review. Take the wreath. Tomorrow the stave is a tool again.
- IN SELF
- You may be seen. Let that be simple. Do not build a self out of applause.
REVERSED
The wreath is withheld, private, or used as a mask — unrecognized labor, or a hollow parade.
- Blocked — the upright current exists and is dammed.
- Shadow — the unused face of the card.
- Internalized — the drama is inner rather than worldly.
Blocked Six of Wands is work without witness. Inner Six is a quiet pride you will not show. Shadow Six needs the crowd more than the craft.
